‘Plowman and Cummins’ is experimental clown duo Sally Plowman and Cailin Cummins. Using absurd visual elements, physical theatre and splintered narrative, they integrate clowning and performance art. They are interested in a slapstick revival, using moments of violence and danger with silliness. They see clowning as a radical position, where skilled chaos can threaten the status quo.
